About Eric Coatalem
Founded in 1986, Galerie Eric Coatalem specializes in paintings, drawings, and sculptures by French masters from the 17th to the 20th century. Renowned for its scholarly approach, the gallery has curated several significant exhibitions, including the first-ever show on Lubin Baugin (1994), a showcase of George-Augustus Wallis landscapes (1998), and a presentation on François Perrier (2001). In 2005-2006, it organized a landmark exhibition of 17th-century French Old Master paintings in both New York and Paris, featuring works by Baugin, Le Brun, Le Nain, Le Sueur, Perrier, and Vouet.
Since 1994, Galerie Eric Coatalem has been a regular exhibitor at prestigious international art fairs, including the Biennale Paris, Salon du Dessin in Paris, and TEFAF in both Maastricht and New York. With a dedication to historical expertise and exceptional works of art, the gallery continues to be a key destination for collectors and institutions worldwide.
