About Koetser Gallery
The Koetser Family established their first gallery in Amsterdam’s Spiegelgracht before World War I. In 1923, Henri Koetser moved the family business to London, where his three sons expanded its reach. With the opening of offices in New York, the gallery built strong connections with private collectors and museums across the USA. In 1967, The Koetser Gallery settled in its current Zurich location, where the third generation, led by David H. Koetser, continues its legacy.
Renowned in the Old Master trade, The Koetser Gallery has long fostered relationships with private collectors, assisting in the development of collections and deepening art historical knowledge through lectures by esteemed scholars and museum curators.
David Koetser has contributed significantly to the field, initiating and supporting exhibitions such as Pieter Claesz: Master of Haarlem Still-Life (2004) and co-curating Adriaen Coorte at the Mauritshuis (2008). With a tradition of expertise and a passion for Old Masters, The Koetser Gallery remains a cornerstone of the international art world. Talstrasse 37
